This section of the WLA website is devoted to the West London Alliance e-government group. The aim of the group is to improve services to the public in West London by working together on e-government development to deliver:
- The benefits of joint working in a focused way; economies of scale, joint research and joint piloting (with responsibility being allocated to a different 'lead borough' for each project)
- Joined-up services around the sub-regional issues that are already being pursued by other WLA groups e.g. housing, economic development, social inclusion, transport, community cohesion
The site is split into the following sections:
Admin - here you will find minutes of the e-government group meetings as well as fortnightly project updates which will tell you how the partnership is progressing.Documents - this section supplies the background documents that have been supporting the e-government groups work over the last few months, including a copy of the bid which the group has recently submitted to ODPM for further funding.
Projects - this lists the projects to which the e-government group is already contributing as well as its planned future projects.
